The God of All Comfort explores God’s word in order to find comfort, strength, and hope for living with the challenges of chronic illness. |
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” — 2 Cor. 1:3-4 Welcome to The God of All Comfort!
Over one in three Americans suffer from chronic illness.
Most of us live with the challenges of illness in family members,
friends, or ourselves.
Regardless of the unique face of your disease, chronic
illness breeds physical, emotional and spiritual devastation. When
we’re sick and hurting, pain and weakness scream for our attention.
Fear and doubt take root in our hearts and minds. Questions about
suffering tear at the fabric of our Christian beliefs.
But we aren’t left to struggle on our own. Our loving,
compassionate heavenly Father is the source of all comfort. Within
the pages of the Bible are His promises of strength, hope, and
His presence.
Our health situations may not change. We may not be
healed. But sustained by His comfort and hope, in turn, we can comfort
others.
I pray the resources on this Web site will comfort,
encourage, and give you hope for each step of your journey with
illness.
Judy
