About Judy
Judy Gann’s passion is to comfort and encourage others
through her writing.
Judy knows the pain and limitations of illness. For
over twenty years she has lived with fibromyalgia and other autoimmune
system disorders and has survived breast cancer. She started an
“Encouragement” support group for people with chronic illness at
her local church. Judy serves as Writers Coordinator for Rest Ministries,
an international support ministry for people with chronic illness
and chronic pain.
Judy has written several magazine articles and contributed
to Prayers for Troubled Times by Jeannie St. John Taylor,
Comfort for the Grieving Heart by Margolyn Woods, and Mosaic
Moments by Lisa Copen.
She lives in Lakewood, Washington where she works
as an early learning librarian for Pierce County Library System.
When she isn’t writing, Judy enjoys reading, collecting children’s
books of the 1940’s and 1950’s, crocheting, playing the piano, cheering
the Seattle Mariners, and taking long walks—even in the rain.
